We took a film crew into the recording studio, set up like a live gig and recorded a live studio album. This has been a project we have had planned for a long time but the timing was never right until now.
The only way great projects get off the ground is by having extraordinary people around to help make it happen. We are so grateful for our long time friend and producer Tony Wall for always pushing us in all aspect of our musicianship and he's a very funny guy, so there's always shenanigans happening in the studio. We really value Tony's experience having worked with the likes of Rose Tattoo, Kiss and Ed Sheeran to mention a few, so when he has advice, we tend to listen.
Richard Lake at A SHARP Studios has been a great supporter of Welter from the last album and this new album. And a huge shout out to Nick Hodgskin from Nick EH Films, for capturing all the footage plus the long hours that lie ahead in editing.
